In addition to raising funds for critical local nonprofits in the Greater Washington region, we raise awareness of their missions, connect them with residents who want to support their work, and build their capacity to nonprofit better through resources that we develop in relationship with their needs as small organizations. Your contribution ensures that we can continue to strengthen and sustain the impact of the small nonprofit sector here, where we live.
Attend the Give Local Gala
Get your ticket for our Give Local Gala on May 19th from 6-9:30pm at Shakespeare Theatre (610 F St NW, Washington, DC). It will be a night of community, inspiration, and action (plus fun, good drinks, and great food!).

Interested in selecting the nonprofits that become Spur Local partners? Every year from January-May, our nonprofit review process involves a team of 170+ volunteers who live or work in this region, ensuring that this process is democratic and community-driven.
