Since 2001, Compass Pro Bono has recruited, trained, and supported over 4500 business professionals to serve as board members or pro bono consultants for over 800 nonprofits, providing $120M in pro bono consulting services. Drawing from a wide range of expertise, business professionals set organizations on a course to sharpen strategies and scale reach to serve communities more efficiently and effectively. Compass volunteers are carefully curated to ensure that nonprofit clients are matched with the most qualified board members or pro bono consultants to help them achieve their organizational goals. Each year in the DC metro area, Compass partners with over 100 local nonprofits across racial, social, and economic lines, with a focus on nonprofits with fewer resources, impacting hundreds of thousands of community members across the region. A gift to Compass helps build a thriving community.
