San Miguel School

San Miguel School is hosting an immersive evening showcasing their mission and community. The event features interactive stations where alumni and current students share their experiences, house sorting activities with signature cocktails celebrating school traditions, and opportunities to experience the brotherhood and community that develops student leaders. This celebration offers attendees a chance to see, hear, and feel what makes San Miguel's programs unique through hands-on demonstrations and personal stories. What: Walk. Sip. Support. – A Community Walk & Brewery Crawl for Survivors

My Sister's Place

Join My Sister’s Place, one of DC’s oldest domestic violence nonprofits, on Saturday, October 18, for Walk. Sip. Support., a community walk and brewery crawl along the Metropolitan Branch Trail. Starting at Wunder Garten, participants will stop at local favorites including City-State Public House, Metrobar, and Lost Generation for purple-themed drinks and activities. Families are welcome to join the powerful Clothesline Project art installation and kid-friendly activities at Alethia Tanner Park. Proceeds support survivors of domestic violence and their children through My Sister’s Place programs. Together, we raise awareness and send a powerful message: no one walks alone.

  • Fee: Purchase a $10 passport to collect stickers at each participating brewery for extra chances to win the grand prize. Each stamp equals one entry into our grand prize drawing!

Champions for Children Tournament  

SafeSpot Children's Advocacy Center of Fairfax

There will be a golf tournament followed by cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, and raise the paddle. There will be about 250 guests attending the event this year. Funds raised support SafeSpot’s core programs of Forensic Interviewing, Family Advocacy, Mental Health Therapy Services, and Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Coordination.
