General Information

  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: Mock interviews and guest speakers for Urban Ed's PD (professional development) weeks. These are short-term, lasting a week at a time and seeking 3-4 hours of time during that week. No specific expertise required, just understanding basic interviewing for jobs/hiring. If you have tech skills & experience that's a great addition. If you have HR skills and recruitment, that's also a great addition. Join us in prepping the next generation of diverse IT talent for entry-level careers.

    If you are a "techie" and want to share some of your insights with our community of students, we welcome you leading a presentation on "a day in the life of...", trends in tech, and any other interesting topic you would like for a nontraditional audience to be enlightened by.
