General Information

  • Volunteer Opportunities / Responsibilities: Mentor: Support a team of 3-5 youth entrepreneurs for one academic year to help them launch their very own businesses (2 hours per week)
    Venture Capital Adviser: Provide guidance to youth entrepreneurs and determine whether they should be awarded seed funding for their business (2-3 hours per quarter)
    Judge: Serve as a judge at a Business Plan Showcase or Competition (2-3 hours per year)
    Graphic Designer: Use graphic design to create student team logos (5-20 hours per year)
  • Types of Volunteers Needed: individual/adult; individual/college; adult groups of less than 5; adult groups of 6 or more, including corporate teams
  • Hours Needed: business hours during the week; evenings during the week
