Pool Chaperone w/ Horton's Kids

Sunny and warm days mean our weekly Sunday field trips to the pool are back! We need a big group of volunteers in July to swim with the kids and help us keep them safe in the water!

Event Information


  • When: Sunday, July 20, 2014 (12:00 PM - 3:30 PM)
  • Where: Francis Pool, 2500 N St NW, Washington, DC 20037   map
  • Volunteer Info: Volunteers are needed to help chaperone our trips to the pool where you'll swim with the kids, eat lunch and play out of the water. Schedule below: 12:00 pm: Meet at the top of the Capitol South Metro escalators for a ride on the HK bus to pick up the kids and drive to the pool. You can alternatively meet us at the pool. 12:45 pm: The HK bus arrives at the pool. Volunteers swim with the kids and help keep them safe. 2:30 pm: The kids eat lunch and play at the park next to the pool. 3:30 pm: The bus takes the kids home and drops off the volunteers back at Cap South.
