New Play Festival (Night 1) with Young Playwrights’ Theater

The New Play Festival is an annual celebration of bold new voices. Each year Young Playwrights’ Theater honors plays from a diverse group of YPT students in a production that celebrates the playwright’s craft. Professional actors, dramaturges and directors collaborate with student writers to create an evening of dynamic theater. YPT is proud to honor the bold, gritty and bright new voices of young writers. A reception will take place at 6:30 pm with a 7:00 pm performance.

Snapshot of Insight Memory Care Center

You are invited to IMCC’s Snapshot, an overview and tour, to see firsthand the work they are doing. Coffee and pastries are provided. You will meet the Executive Director, Joel, and hear about the unique approaches and the innovative practices that IMCC provides to individuals with memory impairment and their caregivers.

One World Celebration with One World Education (OWEd)

The One World Celebration is an annual event recognizing One World Education’s new Ambassadors. These students, who have participated in the One World Program, are nominated by their teachers to be published on OWEd’s website in the Student Writing Library. OWEd will also be presenting scholarship checks to the amazing winners of their College and Career Senior Challenge, held in December. Lastly, three teachers will receive the Global Educator Award in recognition of their achievements in integrating cultural and global issues in their writing instruction.

Tennis Pro-Am with ThanksUSA

ThanksUSA teams up with Trump National to help raise money for military families in the second annual Charity Tennis Pro-Am. They invite you to join in on a day full of tennis featuring some of the former greats in tennis history. Trump National Golf Club debuted its state of the art Indoor Tennis Center in March 2015 and has catapulted into a premier tennis destination in the world.
