Capitol Hil Arts Workshop (545 7th Street SE)

CHAW is hopping all weekend! Try out a Free Tango Practica on Friday from 6:30-9:00 PM and catch the opening of artist Laura Vernon-Russell’s exhibition of silver gelatin prints on Saturday from 5:00-7:00 PM. Plus, every night at 7:00 PM and on Saturday at 3:00 PM, GLBT Arts Consortium and CHAW present Gilbert & Sullivan’s delightful HMS Pinafore.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company (641 D Street NW)

The hilarious and biting Pulitzer Prize-winner Clybourne Park continues all weekend at Woolly. Very few tickets remain, so make sure to nab yours ASAP. Clybourne Park runs until August 14.

Perry School Community Services Center (128 M Street NW)

On Saturday at 10:00 AM, community members will enjoy a BBQ and Street Fair, plus Perry School will distribute backpacks full of school supplies so that students can start the school year off right.

Escape the heat at a Kids on Ice Saturday Open Practice Session on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:15 PM! No previous skating experiences necessary. Skilled instructors are on hand!

DancEthos will present brand new works from its company members and share the stage with guest artists the DC Cowboys, Ari-den Dance Company, and the West Shore Piano Trio on Saturday at 8:00 PM.
